This Jacaranda leaf from my garden is an experiment in cyanotype and encaustic wax. It celebrates the single things that have meaning in our lives – an only child.
Medium/Technique: Cyanotype on Hahnemuhle Platinum Cotton Rag paper, fixed to birch timber panel in floating frame. Addition of gold leaf, acrylic inks, encaustic wax.
Technique: Wet cyanotype – Hahnemuhle Platinum Cotton Rag paper soaked in cyanotype solution and exposed to UV light (sunlight), screen printed
