The Bunya Rainforest, any time during the year when rain sets in and the clouds envelop the mountain tops, but especially during winter, has a peace and tranquility to comfort the soul. Everything is still, calm and quiet. Time seems suspended and one can just be. The plants and soil gather every drop of moisture to be stored for use when the sun returns. This is a magical place on the planet among a forest with many species that can trace their ancestry directly back to a Jurassic epoch.
